Mumma moments-1

My daughter has turned 3.5 and she is super talkative. So will say anything anywhere.

As we are going through a global pandemic now, which means no school and classes online, which also means that she has become a little stubborn now.

During yesterday's class, teacher told them about domestic helpers and there was a quiz afterwards.

During the class, she was roaming around and did not listen to the teacher

Teacher- Who is this on the screen

D - I want to do an activity.

Teacher -Lets complete the quiz first and then we will do the activity.

D- No I want to do the activity now

Teacher- Beta, you answer the questions fast fast and we will do the activity.

D- Please hurry up. I am getting late for office. Lets do the activity fast. :D

Teacher ended up laughing and closing the quiz (Very few students join the morning batch so at the quiz time she was the only one in the class)

Incident 2:

I went to my mom's place yesterday and my nephew is 3 months older to my daughter who is 3.5 years old. Here is their conversation:

N is watching something in his mom's mobile:

D: Dont watch mobile otherwise you will have problem in your eyes

N: Did you get a problem in your eyes?

D: Yes, yesterday I got a problem (We took her to an eye specialist a day before for eye checkup)

N: I don't get anything as I am little Singham

One day:

D has a sweet tooth and totally loves cakes and pastries. So yesterday H got chocolate pastries and she got totally lost for 10 mins in eating it. She finished the pastry while I was passing by.

D: Mumma, I will share my "Happy Birthday" (She calls a cake/pastry "Happy Birthday" ) with you then you also share with me.

I ignored her and went about my work.

She came to me and put the left over crumbs in my mouth with a spoon.

D: Look,  I shared my cake with you. Now you will have to share your cake with me

I couldn't stop laughing at her smartness.

D is getting smarter each day.Sometimes I feel she can outsmart me and everyone else in the house.

While playing with her stationary kit (Yes, she plays with the stationary kit..Arranges the pencils and do timepass for 15-20 minutes so I dont mind as I get some relief from her naughtiness for that much time)

So she keeps the crayon box to her ear like a mobile and starts talking to her Nani(Grand mother)

Yes Nani. I am fine. I want to talk to Mami(Aunt)

Mami...Yes yes...Chocolate..No No chocolate will spoil my teeth.

Ok..Candy.. I can get candy from mumma also. Ok, I will tell her.

Keeping down her imaginary phone, she starts telling me.

D: Mumma, Do you know, it was who I was talking to

Me: No beta, I have no idea.

D: I was talking to Mami and she said she wants to give me chocolate. I told her that chocolate will spoil my teeth. So she offered me candy and I told her that mumma gives me candy.

So mumma, please give me a candy.

I was looking at her with my mouth open in awe.

I was thinking I can never imagine creating a story for a candy. huh

The calls have progressed. On her imaginary phone, she gets many more calls now. She gets calls from her "Sir" as I get from my boss. She gets assigned some work. She has a small toy laptop on which she finishes her work quite quickly. When some of us are talking, and she is not getting any attention, she will hold her phone to her ear and tell everyone.

"shhh shhh. I am getting a call."

Yesterday, she was talking on the phone and saying

"Sir, I have lost my laptop. What do I do? I am not able to find it."

And she kept down the phone. I asked her what did Sir say on this.

She said. "Sir is saying, Its all right. if you lost your laptop, dont work"

I wish I could do that :D
